focused

My son, who is 9 and quite focused, has been attending the OBOTZ Robotics & Coding program in Calgary for a few weeks now. The staff, particularly our instructor Maria, have been really engaging, making the learning experience enjoyable for the kids. They’ve built small robots using kits, and it’s been rewarding to see how much my son has learned in such a short time. The group size is small, which allows for more hands-on assistance. However, I did notice that the pickup process can get a bit chaotic, especially on busy days, leading to some long lines. Overall, it's a solid program that I would recommend, but be prepared for a bit of a wait during pickup.

creative

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old in the OBOTZ Robotics & Coding program in Calgary, and overall, we had a solid experience. The instructor, Jamie, was genuinely enthusiastic and kept the kids engaged throughout the session. My child especially loved building a simple robot and learning to code its movements. Watching him get excited about problem-solving was a joy for me. However, one small annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it felt a bit unorganized at times. That said, the small group size allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. I think this program would be great for kids who are creative and enjoy hands-on projects. I would recommend it, but be prepared for some logistical hiccups during pickup.
