My son, who is 9, participated in the Jungle Coders Robotics program in Calgary, and he had a fantastic time. The instructor, Mike, was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely enthusiastic about robotics, which really engaged the kids. They built a small robot that could navigate a simple maze, and I loved seeing my son light up as he figured out how to program it. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which is a big plus in my book. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic; we had to wait in a long line, which was frustrating after a long day. Overall, I think the program is worth it, and my son is eager to return next week. If your child enjoys creative projects and problem-solving, this could be a great fit.

My son recently attended the Jungle Coders Robotics program in Calgary, and I found it to be a solid experience overall. The staff, particularly our instructor Ella, was very engaged and took the time to help each kid understand the concepts. My son built a small robot and managed to program it to navigate a simple obstacle course, which he found thrilling. The small group size allowed for more personalized instruction, and it was nice to see him collaborate with other kids. However, I did notice that some activities were heavily focused on screen use, which I prefer to limit at home. While the price point is on the higher side (we paid around $250 for the term), I think the skills he is gaining are worth it. I would recommend this program, but I’d suggest keeping an eye on the screen time during sessions.
