MRU Camps — Nature & Outdoors

My son attended the MRU Camps Nature & Outdoors program in Calgary, and overall, it was a solid experience. The camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and I appreciated the complimentary aftercare. His instructor, Jake, was fantastic at keeping the kids engaged with various outdoor games and activities, which really helped him make a new friend. They built birdhouses and learned about local wildlife, which he couldn't stop talking about when I picked him up. However, I did notice some long lines during drop-off, which made the mornings a bit chaotic. Still, my son came home happy and eager to return. I'd recommend this camp, especially for outgoing kids who thrive in social settings.

It was a minor annoyance, but I felt it was manageable. Overall, I would recommend the camp, especially if your child enjoys being active and exploring nature, but be prepared for some logistical hiccups.
