My son attended the Mad Science of Southern Alberta's Nature & Outdoors program in Calgary, and he had a blast exploring the different aspects of nature. Every week, the small group size allowed him to really engage with the activities and interact closely with Ms. Jessica, who was enthusiastic and made learning fun. They built bird feeders and learned about local wildlife, which sparked a lot of curiosity in him. The only downside was the long lines during pickup, which could get a bit chaotic at times. Overall, I would recommend this program for active kids, as it balances learning with plenty of outdoor time, but it might be a bit trying for those who are more reserved. We will definitely continue attending for this session!
