My daughter recently participated in the Fit Kids — Nature & Outdoors program in Calgary, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, like Sarah, were enthusiastic and really engaged the kids in activities such as building birdhouses and learning about local flora. My daughter, who is quite active, loved the hands-on projects and spent hours outside. The small group size meant she got plenty of attention and support. One downside was the lack of shade during the afternoon sessions, which made it a bit uncomfortable on sunny days. Still, the outdoor setting was refreshing, and she came home excited about the healthy habits they discussed. If you're looking for a way to get your kids active in nature, I would recommend this program with some caution regarding the hot weather.
