Morin Music Studio Ltd — Music

My 6-year-old son recently started attending weekly music classes at Morin Music Studio in Calgary, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructor, Sarah, is fantastic at keeping the kids engaged while allowing them to explore their creativity. My son has enjoyed building his own musical rhythm with various instruments and even made a friend in the class, which was a nice bonus. The small group size really helps to ensure that each child gets some personal attention. However, I did find the drop-off a bit chaotic, as there were quite a few parents picking up at the same time, and it got crowded in the hallway. That said, my child always comes home excited about what he learned, and I appreciate the focus on fostering a love of music at such a young age. I would recommend this studio, with the caveat to be prepared for a busy pickup time.

The instructor, Sarah, was incredibly engaging and made the lessons enjoyable. My daughter was able to build her confidence as they explored rhythm and melody through fun activities. She even created a little musical piece with her classmates, which she loved showing us afterward. However, I found the drop-off situation a bit chaotic. The lobby gets quite crowded, and it can be tricky finding a spot to wait while the kids gather for their lessons. I also wish there were clearer communication about the schedule changes; we missed a couple of updates. Despite these small annoyances, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and I appreciate the small group sizes that allowed for more personalized attention. I would recommend this program for other parents looking for a friendly introduction to music for their little ones.
