My son, who is 9, has been attending the Jam and Play music program in Calgary for a few months, and he really enjoys it. The instructor, Sarah, has a great way of keeping the kids engaged and motivated while they learn the guitar. He recently built a small song with her guidance, which boosted his confidence. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, which I appreciate. However, the program does have a few logistical challenges. The pickup process can be a bit chaotic, especially on busy days, and we've experienced some long lines when picking him up. Additionally, while the lessons are tailored to each child's pace, I feel they could improve their communication about lesson progress. Despite these minor annoyances, I would recommend Jam and Play for its creative environment and supportive staff.
