Imagine Music Lessons — Music

We enrolled my 6-year-old in the Imagine Music Lessons in Calgary, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructor, Emma, has a wonderful way with kids. She tailored the lessons to fit my son's interest in learning the piano, which made him excited to practice at home. The small group size allowed for personal attention, and my son even made a friend during one of the sessions. However, I did notice that the studio can get quite crowded during pickup time, which made it a bit chaotic at times. If you have a shy child, they might take a few weeks to warm up, but Emma’s patient approach really helped my son feel more comfortable. The $100 price per month is reasonable given the quality of instruction. I would recommend this program to other parents looking for music lessons, but be prepared for a busy environment.

She’s been learning the piano and has already built a small repertoire that she proudly plays for us. The small class size allows for personalized attention, which we really appreciate. One downside we encountered was the long lines at pickup. It can get a bit chaotic, especially when multiple parents are waiting to collect their kids after lessons. I do wish the program could streamline this process. However, we have noticed our daughter’s confidence grow, and she’s even made a couple of friends in class. The weekly lessons are priced reasonably, and the environment feels supportive. I'd definitely recommend this program with a note about the pickup situation.
