Brilliant Beginnings — Music

I recently took my 2-year-old to the Brilliant Beginnings music class in Calgary, and we had a solid experience. The instructor, Sarah, was engaging and really connected with the kids. She guided us through various songs and activities that encouraged movement and interaction, which helped my shy child come out of her shell a bit. The small class size meant that everyone got individual attention, and my daughter loved playing with the instruments. However, I did notice longer lines during check-in, which could be frustrating when you’re trying to settle a little one before class. Overall, I would recommend this program, especially for parents looking to bond with their toddlers while navigating the world of music together.

The instructor, Mia, is exceptionally engaging, which made our shy little one feel more comfortable as the class progressed. Each week, they explore different musical instruments and participate in fun, structured activities that promote early development. My child particularly enjoyed the creative project where they built a simple drum from recycled materials. It's wonderful to see the kids bonding while exploring music together. One minor annoyance was the lack of communication about what to expect on the first day. We had to figure out the class structure on our own, which could be overwhelming for new parents. However, once we settled in, the friendly atmosphere made up for it. I’d recommend this program, especially for parents with shy kids looking for a supportive environment to engage with music and other families.
