Team Impact Amateur Boxing Club — Martial Arts

My son, Jake, has been attending Team Impact Amateur Boxing Club in Calgary for the past few months, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructors, like Sam, are genuinely invested in the kids' development, teaching them not just the techniques of boxing, but also instilling confidence and discipline. Jake loves the small group sizes, which allows for plenty of personal attention. However, one downside is the long lines during pickup; we often wait longer than I'd like, which can be a bit frustrating after a busy day. That said, Jake has made some great friends here and looks forward to each weekly session. If your child is active and interested in martial arts, I would recommend Team Impact, but just be prepared for some delays at the end of class.

Despite this minor annoyance, I appreciate the inclusive atmosphere, where everyone seems to be supportive of each other. My son has even made a new friend, which adds to the overall enjoyment. If you're looking for a solid martial arts program for teens, I'd recommend giving this place a try, but just be prepared for the busy pickup times.
