We enrolled our 6-year-old in the Kung Fu For Life program in Calgary, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The instructor, Master A. Piercey, is skilled and really connects with the kids. My child loves learning the kicks and balance techniques and has even made a friend in class. The emphasis on discipline and focus is evident, which is great for his growth and enthusiasm. The classes are engaging without being overwhelming, striking a nice balance. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup, which sometimes made it difficult to get out of there quickly. But the positive environment and supportive staff more than made up for it. I’d recommend it, especially for active children who enjoy movement and learning new skills.

I enrolled my 6-year-old son in the Kung Fu For Life program in Calgary, and overall, we had a positive experience. The classes are engaging, and Master A. Piercey does a fantastic job of keeping the children's attention while teaching traditional Kung Fu techniques. I appreciate the focus on discipline and self-defense skills. My son particularly enjoyed learning how to perform a basic front kick and even made a friend in his small class. However, I did notice that the pickup process could be a bit chaotic, especially with long lines forming at the end of class. It can be stressful for parents trying to get their kids quickly. Despite that, I would recommend this program for active kids who thrive in a structured environment, and we plan to continue attending weekly.
