We enrolled our 6-year-old in the Extreme TaeKwon MaDang program in Calgary, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructors, like Coach Sam, were very engaging and made sure each child was involved, which really helped my son feel confident. He learned some cool kicks and even got to practice a few flips, which he loved. However, I did find that pickup could get a bit chaotic at times. There were long lines, and it seemed like some parents weren’t as attentive as they should be, which made it a little stressful. Still, the small class sizes kept things manageable, and my son made a friend during the sessions, which was great. I appreciate that the environment is inclusive, catering to kids of various skill levels. Overall, I’d recommend it, but I'd suggest arriving a bit earlier for pickup to avoid the rush.

My daughter has been attending Extreme TaeKwon MaDang in Calgary for the past few months, and overall, it has been a positive experience. We enrolled her in the Little Heroes class, and she absolutely loved learning dynamic kicks and flips. The instructor, Jason, is fantastic with the kids, making sure that everyone participates and feels included. I appreciate the small group size, which allows for more personal attention. One minor annoyance was the long lines during pickup; it can get a bit chaotic, especially with kids excitedly running out. However, once we got past that, it was nice to see my daughter so engaged and making friends in the process. If your child is active and enjoys trying new things, I'd recommend checking out this program.
