CFC CHAMPION FIGHT CLUB — Martial Arts

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old at CFC Champion Fight Club in Calgary, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The instructors, especially Mia, are very engaged and make sure each child feels included in the activities. My son loves the kickboxing classes and has learned some cool moves that he proudly shows off at home. The small class sizes are a big plus, as they get a lot of attention. However, the lineup for check-in can get a bit chaotic, especially on Saturdays when everyone is arriving at once. It would help if they could streamline that process a bit. Even so, my son has made friends, and he always comes home energized, which is a great sign. I'd recommend this program to parents looking for a good martial arts option for their active kids, just be prepared for some wait times on busy days.

The instructors, especially Jenna, are very engaged and provide excellent guidance. My son has been learning MMA techniques and even got to spar with a partner, which he found thrilling. Classes are small, allowing for more personalized attention, which is great for kids who may need that. However, I did notice some long lines during pickup, which can get a bit chaotic as parents are trying to gather their kids amidst the bustle. Despite this minor annoyance, my son loves attending and has made a couple of new friends. I appreciate the inclusive environment they foster, making it accessible for kids of all backgrounds. If you're looking for a fun martial arts program, I'd recommend CFC, just be prepared for a little wait after class.
