My son has been attending Black Belt Jung's Taekwondo in Calgary for a few months now, and overall, we've had a solid experience. The instructors, especially Master Jung, are genuinely engaged with the kids. They created a supportive environment that really helps my son build his confidence. He’s particularly enjoyed learning new kicks and how to break boards, which he proudly showed me after class. However, drop-off can be a bit chaotic; sometimes it feels overwhelming with all the kids coming and going at the same time. Despite that, my son has made friends and looks forward to these weekly classes. I recommend this program to parents who want their kids to be active and learn valuable life skills, but it may take some patience at drop-off.

My son started attending the Little Tigers class at Black Belt Jung's Taekwondo in Calgary last month, and we're quite pleased with his progress. The instruction from Master Jung and his team is energetic and supportive, which has helped my son become more confident. During the first week, he built a basic understanding of stances and blocks, and he came home excited to show us what he learned. I appreciate the small group sizes, which allow for personalized attention. One small annoyance was the long lines during pickup time, which made it a bit hectic, especially with younger kids. Overall, though, the program has been a great fit for my active child, and I feel it’s helped him not just physically but also in developing his character skills like respect and discipline. I would recommend this program with the caveat that you plan for some extra time during pick up.
