JSKL Kids R Fun Daycare — Languages

I enrolled my 4-year-old in the JSKL Kids R Fun Daycare Languages program in Calgary, and overall, it’s been a good experience. The staff, especially our main instructor Sarah, has been very engaged and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Each week, my child has been working on fun projects, like making a language book where they can draw and write words in both English and Spanish. It’s been great to see them excited about learning new words! However, I did notice that sometimes the space can get a bit crowded during pickup, which can be a little chaotic. Still, the small group sizes allow for more personalized attention, which is a big plus for my shy child. If you’re looking for a program that encourages creativity in a nurturing environment, this is a solid choice.

The small group size allowed her to get ample attention from Ms. Lisa, who seemed genuinely engaged with the kids. They worked on fun activities like creating a mini-book in Spanish, which my daughter really enjoyed and showed off at home. One minor issue was the long lines during pickup; it took longer than expected some days, especially on Wednesdays. However, the environment was nurturing, and she made a new friend, which is always a plus. While my daughter is a bit shy, she seemed to warm up to the setting and participated more as the weeks went by. I would recommend this program, but be prepared for a bit of a wait during pickup.
