My daughter, who is 6 and quite shy, recently started attending the language classes at Havana Cuban Dance Studio in Calgary. She participated in the weekly Spanish class, where they used songs and games to teach vocabulary. The instructor, Maria, was very engaging and made a real effort to include everyone, which helped my daughter feel more comfortable. It was nice to see her participating, and she even made a new friend in the small group setting. However, the pickup process was a bit chaotic, with long lines at times, which was frustrating. Overall, I think this program is a solid choice for families looking to introduce their kids to new languages in a supportive environment. Just be prepared for some waiting at pickup.
