I recently enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Clip Clop Horseback Riding program in Calgary, and overall, it was a solid experience. The staff, particularly our instructor Emily, were very engaging and supportive, which made my daughter feel welcome right away. She spent the day learning to ride and care for horses, and she built a great bond with a gentle mare named Daisy. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the heated indoor arena was a bonus since it was a chilly day. However, we did encounter long lines at check-in, which could be frustrating for parents who want a smoother drop-off experience. Despite that annoyance, my daughter loved every minute, and she can’t wait to return next week. I’d recommend this program for active kids who enjoy outdoor activities and want to learn about horses.
