Western Ball Hockey League — Hockey

My son, who is 9 years old and quite active, recently joined the Western Ball Hockey League at the Calgary Central Sportsplex. The program runs weekly, which makes it easy to fit into our schedule. The coaches, particularly a coach named Jamie, were welcoming and supportive, helping the kids learn the basics while fostering a sense of teamwork. My son especially loved being part of a group where he made new friends and could showcase his skills. The only downside was the crowded pickup area after practice; it became a bit chaotic at times, making it hard to find him amidst all the other kids. However, overall, the communication from the staff was great, and I appreciated their dedication to ensuring the kids were engaged and having fun. I would recommend this program, especially for active kids looking to enjoy hockey in a friendly environment.
