The Hockey Hub YYC — Hockey

We enrolled our 6-year-old in The Hockey Hub YYC program in Calgary, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The coaching staff, especially Coach Ryan, seems genuinely engaged and passionate about teaching the kids. My child learned to skate better and even scored a few goals, which boosted his confidence tremendously. Pickup was straightforward, though I found the area quite crowded with parents and kids, making it a bit chaotic at times. Despite this minor annoyance, the environment felt inclusive and supportive, which I really appreciated. The skills they focus on, like teamwork and sportsmanship, are valuable lessons that go beyond hockey. I would recommend this program with the caveat that you might want to arrive early to handle the busy pickup situation.

I would recommend this program for parents looking for a good mix of skill development and fun for their kids.
