NESS: Don Hartman North East Sportsplex — Hockey

We enrolled our 9-year-old son in the hockey program at the Don Hartman North East Sportsplex in Calgary this past season. He’s active and has been eager to learn more about hockey. The instructor, Coach Ryan, was engaging and really connected with the kids, making the practices fun while teaching them essential skills. I appreciated the structured pickup process; it felt organized and safe. However, on a couple of occasions, the rink was quite crowded, which made it a bit chaotic during practice times. Despite that, our son made new friends and improved his skating skills, which was fantastic to see. Overall, I would recommend this program for parents looking for a solid hockey experience for their kids, especially if they enjoy teamwork and being active.
