My son attended the Funtastic Hockey and Sports Camp in Calgary last week, and overall, we had a solid experience. The team was led by Coach Jamie, who really connected with the kids and kept them engaged during the two hours of ice time each day. My son was thrilled to learn new hockey skills and even made a couple of friends. The pickup process was well organized, which I appreciated, as it made things easier during the busy camp days. However, I did notice some long lines during drop-off, which could be a bit chaotic at times. If you’re considering this for a younger child, just be prepared for that. My son is quite active and loved every moment, but I can see how a shy or more reserved child might need some encouragement to join in. If you're looking for a supportive environment where kids can grow and have fun, I would recommend this camp with a few caveats.
