My son has been attending the gymnastics program at the University of Calgary Gymnastics Centre for a few weeks now and overall we’ve had a solid experience. The instructors, particularly Emma, are very engaged and offer helpful feedback. My son has learned how to do a cartwheel and worked on his balance beam skills, which he is very proud of. The small group size means he gets plenty of attention, which is great for him as he is an active child. One downside, however, is the long lines at pickup time, which can get a bit chaotic. We also spent about 15 minutes waiting to enter the gym, which could be improved. But with the way he smiles after each class, I think we’ll keep coming back! If your child enjoys physical activity, this program could be a great fit.

My daughter has been attending the gymnastics program at the University of Calgary Gymnastics Centre for a few months now, and it's been quite a journey. The staff, including our main instructor, Sarah, are really engaged and make the classes fun for the kids. My daughter, who is quite active, has developed her balance and coordination by learning to do cartwheels and basic flips. One downside was the long lines during check-in, which was a bit frustrating, especially when we were running late one day. But once we got in, the small class size meant she received lots of attention. Overall, I recommend this program for parents looking for a solid gymnastics experience, just be prepared for some wait times at the start.
