KIN Gymnastics — Gymnastics

We enrolled our 6-year-old daughter in KIN Gymnastics in Calgary, and overall, it has been a positive experience. The instructors, like Sarah, are genuinely engaged with the kids, making sure they feel supported. My daughter has become quite skilled at basic tumbling and even made a friend in her small group. The focus on body awareness and discipline is commendable, and I appreciate the community feel among the participants. However, I found the drop-off process a bit chaotic at times, especially during busy schedules on Saturdays. It would be helpful if they had a more streamlined system to ease some of that congestion. Despite this, we plan to continue attending as my daughter enjoys it and is always excited to go back. I would recommend KIN, but be prepared for some crowding at pickup times.

The facility is quite spacious, which is nice, but we did find that some classes get a bit crowded, making it hard for the kids to focus at times. However, the instructor, Jenna, was very engaging and made sure each child felt included. My daughter particularly loved working on her cartwheels and even made a new friend during the session. Pickup was smooth, which I appreciated since I was juggling other commitments. The monthly tuition is reasonable for what you get, but I wish they could offer more flexibility with make-up classes for missed sessions. If you're looking for an environment that promotes fitness and confidence, I would recommend checking it out, just be prepared for a lively atmosphere that can get a little hectic.
