North Calgary Dance Centre — Dance

My daughter, who is 6 and very outgoing, has been attending the North Calgary Dance Centre for a few months now, and overall, it's been a positive experience. The instructors, especially Sarah, have been fantastic at engaging the kids and making them feel comfortable. My daughter particularly enjoyed the creative ballet class where they incorporated storytelling into dance. It was delightful to see her imagination come to life through movement. One minor annoyance, however, was the long lines during pickup, which can get a bit chaotic at times. But once inside the studio, you can see that the small group sizes really help the kids get personalized attention. The cost is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the classes. I’d definitely recommend this program to other parents looking for a fun and structured dance experience for their children.

My daughter has developed a sense of rhythm and coordination, which is lovely to see. Each week, she gets to work on creative dance projects, combining movement with music, which she loves. However, the pickup process can be a bit chaotic, especially on busy days when a lot of parents arrive at the same time. I recommend arriving a bit early to avoid long lines. Overall, it's a great experience for her, especially as she is quite shy; this program has helped her come out of her shell and make new friends. I would definitely recommend this program for parents looking for a supportive environment for their little ones.
