Fun 'N' Dance — Dance

We enrolled our 6-year-old daughter in the Fun 'N' Dance program in Calgary this past month, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The studio offers a wonderful environment where she can explore different dance styles. Each week, she learns something new, from ballet to hip hop, and she has even made a few friends in her small group, which is a bonus. The instructor, Sarah, is particularly engaged and makes the classes enjoyable while also teaching the kids proper techniques. However, we did experience some long lines during pickup, which was a bit frustrating with the chaos at times. Despite that, I appreciate the inclusive atmosphere and the focus on nurturing young dancers. If you're considering a dance program, I recommend it with that small caveat in mind.

However, I noticed that pick-up can get a bit crowded, particularly on Saturdays, making it hard to find her among the other parents and kids. Despite that, the small group size helps ensure that each child receives personal attention, which I appreciate. Overall, I’d recommend it for parents looking for a welcoming environment where their kids can explore dance without feeling overwhelmed.
