We enrolled our 6-year-old daughter in the weekly dance classes at Evolutions School of Dance in Calgary, and overall, we had a positive experience. The staff, especially Ms. Amy, was very engaged with the kids and made every class fun and interactive. Our daughter loved creating a dance routine based on her favorite movie character, and she even made a friend in her small class, which was great for her social skills. The only downside was the long lines during pickup, which could use some improvement. It would be nice if they could streamline that process a bit. Nevertheless, the inclusive environment made it easy for our outgoing child to feel comfortable and excited to participate every week. We would recommend this program, especially for kids who enjoy being active and expressive through dance.

My daughter has been attending Evolutions School of Dance in Calgary for the past few months, and overall, it's been a positive experience. We attend the Saturday morning class for 5-7 year-olds, and the small group size really allows the instructor, Mia, to connect with each child. Mia is passionate and makes each session lively—my daughter looks forward to it every week. They’ve been learning a mix of ballet and creative dance, which has helped her build confidence and coordination. However, I did notice that the lobby tends to get a bit crowded during pickup, making it tricky to locate her among the other kids. A clearer system for dismissing children would help alleviate that stress. Despite this minor annoyance, the inclusive environment and supportive staff make this program worthwhile. It’s been great watching her make friends and express herself through dance.
