We enrolled our 6-year-old daughter at Dance Avenue in Calgary, and overall, we've had a positive experience. The instructors, especially Lisa, do a fantastic job of engaging the kids. Our daughter has learned some basic Ballroom and Latin dance moves and has really enjoyed the rhythm exercises. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, which has helped her build confidence, especially since she's a bit shy. One downside was the drop-off process; it felt a bit chaotic with several parents trying to check in at the same time. Still, once inside, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The classes are reasonably priced, and we appreciate the inclusive environment that encourages kids of all skill levels. We're looking forward to seeing her progress as the weeks go by!

My daughter has been attending Dance Avenue in Calgary for a couple of months now, and overall, it has been a good experience. The classes focus on various dance styles, which has really helped her explore different rhythms and movements. Her instructor, Lisa, is incredibly supportive and engages well with the kids, making sure everyone feels included, which is great for my shy daughter. However, I did find the drop-off process a bit chaotic, as there were too many parents trying to get their kids in at the same time. We'd often have to wait in line, which was frustrating. The small group size is a definite plus, allowing for more personalized attention. While the class fees are on the higher side for our budget, the joy it brings to my daughter makes it worthwhile. I would recommend this program, but just be prepared for some initial hustle at the start of class.
