Dance Avenue — Dance

We enrolled our 6-year-old daughter at Dance Avenue in Calgary, and overall, we've had a positive experience. The instructors, especially Lisa, do a fantastic job of engaging the kids. Our daughter has learned some basic Ballroom and Latin dance moves and has really enjoyed the rhythm exercises. The small group size allows for more personalized attention, which has helped her build confidence, especially since she's a bit shy. One downside was the drop-off process; it felt a bit chaotic with several parents trying to check in at the same time. Still, once inside, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The classes are reasonably priced, and we appreciate the inclusive environment that encourages kids of all skill levels. We're looking forward to seeing her progress as the weeks go by!

The small group size is a definite plus, allowing for more personalized attention. While the class fees are on the higher side for our budget, the joy it brings to my daughter makes it worthwhile. I would recommend this program, but just be prepared for some initial hustle at the start of class.
