Alberta Ballet School — Dance

My daughter attended the Alberta Ballet School's full-day dance program in Calgary this summer, and overall, we were quite pleased. The instructors, especially Mia, were incredibly engaged and attentive, which made a significant difference for the students. My daughter worked on various ballet techniques and even created a small contemporary dance piece, which she was so proud of. The pickup process was smooth, which I appreciated after a long day. However, the program did feel a bit crowded at times, and it was sometimes hard for the kids to get individual attention during busy practice sessions. If your child is outgoing and active, I think they'll thrive here, provided they can handle the hustle and bustle. I’d recommend this program, but just be prepared for the packed environment.

However, I did find the program’s cost was a bit steep, particularly with additional fees for costumes and performances. The pickup process was organized, which made it easy for us. My daughter made friends and came home excited to show off new routines, which was delightful. I would recommend this program, but be prepared for the extra costs involved. A great environment for creative kids!
