The Cookbook Co. Cooks — Cooking

We recently attended a cooking class at The Cookbook Co. Cooks in Calgary with my 6-year-old son, and overall, it was a positive experience. The small group size made it easy for the instructor, Sarah, to give individual attention to all the kids. My son loved making homemade pizza from scratch and even added his own toppings. However, we did encounter a long line while checking in, which could be frustrating if you arrive right at the start time. The staff was friendly and engaging, and my son seemed to enjoy learning new cooking skills in a hands-on way. Just a heads up for parents, make sure to mention any allergies when you book. We will definitely be back for more classes, but I'll plan to arrive a little earlier next time.

My son, Leo, attended The Cookbook Co. Cooks in Calgary last Saturday, and overall, it was a solid experience. We had a small group of about six kids, which allowed for plenty of interaction with our instructor, Sarah. She was incredibly engaging and made the cooking process fun and educational. Leo loved making his own pizza from scratch, which he took great pride in. One downside was the added cost for some ingredients that weren't included in the base fee, which felt a bit excessive. Otherwise, the environment was very welcoming, and my son really enjoyed the creative aspect of the class. He was a bit shy at first, but by the end, he had made a friend in the group. I would recommend this program for kids who enjoy cooking but would suggest inquiring about all costs upfront to avoid surprises.
