I enrolled my 9-year-old at Spaghetti Tree Chef in Calgary for their after-school cooking program. Overall, it was a solid experience. My child eagerly came home after each session, excited to share how they chopped vegetables and prepared their own spaghetti dish. The instructor, Maria, was attentive and made sure all the kids felt involved, which was fantastic. However, I did notice that the drop-off process could get a bit chaotic. Some days there were long lines, and it felt a little disorganized. Despite that, my child made a couple of friends and really enjoyed the creative projects. I appreciate the hands-on approach, helping kids learn and apply cooking skills in a fun way. I would recommend it but suggest arriving early to avoid the drop-off rush.
