Steamoji Calgary Southeast — Coding

We enrolled our 9-year-old in the Steamoji coding program in Calgary Southeast, and overall, we had a solid experience. The instructors, particularly Emily, were genuinely engaged and encouraged the kids to explore their creativity. My son built a fun game using coding principles, which he was really excited about. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, I did notice that there was quite a bit of screen time during the sessions, which I worry might not be ideal for every child. The pickup process was smooth, and they communicated well with parents. While the price of $699 is a bit hefty, I believe the skills my son is learning are worth it. I would recommend this program, but parents should consider how their kids handle screen time.

If you have a child who's a bit shy but curious about technology, I think this program could be a solid fit, with just a bit of caution regarding the screen time.
