RoboGarden Inc. — Coding

My son attended the RoboGarden Inc. coding program in Calgary last semester, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Jake, was particularly engaging and ensured that each child, including my son who's quite creative, felt empowered to express their ideas. He enjoyed building a game from scratch using the coding concepts taught each week. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, I did notice that there was a fair amount of screen time involved, which could be a concern for some parents. The pickup process was smooth, which was a relief given how chaotic some programs can be. While it’s not without its drawbacks, I’d still recommend it for kids who are keen to explore coding in a fun way.

I appreciated the small group size, which allowed for more personalized attention. However, the line during pickup was a bit longer than I expected, which made it challenging to keep my younger child entertained while waiting. Despite this minor annoyance, my child left every class feeling accomplished and eager to share what they learned. If you're looking for a fun way for your child to dive into coding, this program is worth considering, but be prepared for possible wait times at pickup.
