KidStrong North Hill (AB) — Coding

I enrolled my 6-year-old daughter, Emily, in the weekly coding classes at KidStrong North Hill in Calgary, and overall, we had a good experience. The instructor, Mark, was very engaging and made the subject fun. Emily loved building her first simple game using blocks and coding concepts. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which was great for her creative spirit. However, we faced some long lines during pickup, which was a bit annoying, especially after a busy day. I think the program could benefit from a more organized system at the end of classes. Despite that, I appreciate how they integrate physical activities with coding lessons, which helped keep the kids focused and energized. I would recommend this program for kids who enjoy creative projects and are looking to dip their toes into tech.

However, the pickup process can be a bit chaotic, with long lines forming as parents gather their kids. It would be great if they could streamline that a bit. Despite this small annoyance, the program's focus on integrating physical activity with cognitive development is impressive. We’ve seen our child become more confident and involved, and he’s even made a new friend in class. I would recommend KidStrong for other parents looking for a fun and educational activity for their kids.
