SkyCastle (Macleod) Indoor Playground - Family Entertainment Centre — Climbing

We visited the SkyCastle Indoor Playground in Calgary last Saturday for the climbing activity, and my 6-year-old had a blast. The climbing area was well-thought-out, with various levels of difficulty that kept him engaged without overwhelming him. The staff, particularly our instructor Sam, was attentive and provided great encouragement while ensuring safety. However, we did encounter long lines during peak hours, which meant we had to wait longer than expected to get started. Despite that, my son made a friend while waiting, which turned out to be a nice bonus. The environment was inclusive, and I appreciated how the setup allowed him to explore his climbing skills in a fun and supportive space. I’d definitely recommend it, but consider going early to avoid the crowds.

We went on a Saturday morning, which I think contributed to the hustle and bustle. Pickup was smooth, and I appreciated the clear communication from the staff about the schedule. Overall, we had a good time, and I would recommend it for other parents looking for a fun activity—just be mindful of the busy times.
