I took my 9-year-old to ClimbPark at the Calgary Climbing Centre, and overall, it was a positive experience. The staff, particularly our instructor Sarah, were engaged and supportive, making sure the kids understood the safety rules and techniques before they started climbing. My son was thrilled to tackle the Floating Cubes and even managed to conquer the Speed wall. I appreciated the structure of the half-day program, and the pickup process was smooth, though we did encounter long lines at the registration, which was a bit frustrating. It’s definitely an active environment, perfect for kids who love climbing and challenges. I would recommend it for other parents looking for a fun way to keep their kids engaged. Just be prepared for a bit of waiting at the beginning.

I took my 9-year-old son to the ClimbPark at Calgary Climbing Centre last Saturday, and it turned out to be a solid experience. The staff, particularly an instructor named Lucas, was very engaging and helped the kids feel comfortable on the climbing walls. My son was thrilled to tackle the Floating Cubes and even managed to conquer the Speed wall! The small group size meant he got plenty of attention, which was great. The only downside was the long lines; we spent a good amount of time waiting, which tested his patience a bit. Overall, it was worth it for the fun and physical challenge, and I would recommend it especially for active kids who need to burn off some energy.
