YMCA Camp Riveredge — Basketball

My son attended the YMCA Camp Riveredge Basketball program in Calgary, and overall, we had a great experience. The staff, especially Coach Mike, were incredibly engaged and made sure each child felt included while developing their basketball skills. My son improved his shooting technique and even made a friend, which was a bonus for his social skills. However, the pickup process left something to be desired; we faced long lines that made it a bit stressful to collect him. The camp is located at Sandy Beach Park, which provided ample outdoor time, and I appreciated that they kept the kids active throughout the day. For the price, I felt it was a solid investment in my son's physical development. I'd recommend Camp Riveredge, but suggest arriving early for pickup to avoid the hassle.

However, he came home excited every day, talking about the drills they did and the games they played. If your child is active and enjoys basketball, this camp is worth considering, just be prepared for a bit of a wait at pickup.
