Vision Sports Centre — Basketball

I recently took my 9-year-old son to the basketball program at Vision Sports Centre in Calgary. The facility is impressive, with hardwood courts that really make the experience enjoyable. The coach, Ethan, was great at engaging the kids, making sure everyone had a chance to learn and participate. My son particularly enjoyed the shooting drills, where he managed to make a few baskets. The group size was small, which allowed for more personalized attention. One downside was the pickup process; we faced long lines when picking up the kids, which made it a bit frustrating at times. Overall, I think the program is a solid choice for active kids and I would recommend it to other parents, just be prepared for a wait during pick-up.

They learned not just skills but also teamwork. I appreciated the great pickup process, where they organized everyone by age and skill level effectively. However, the facility was a bit crowded on our last visit, making it hard for parents to find seating. Despite that, my child came home happy, excited to practice their shooting techniques. I would definitely recommend this program for active kids who want to improve their basketball skills while making new friends.
