Vision Basketball Academy — Basketball

My son has been attending the Vision Basketball Academy in Calgary for a few weeks now, and overall, it's been a solid experience. The coaches, especially Mia, are very engaging and genuinely care about each player’s development. My son has learned a lot about shooting techniques and defensive strategies, and he appreciates the small group sizes that allow for more personalized attention. One highlight was a scrimmage they did last week, where he got to put his skills into practice. However, I did notice the pickup situation can be a bit chaotic, making it hard to find him at times. This is something I hope they improve on as the program continues. Despite this minor annoyance, I feel like it's a worthwhile program for an active child looking to develop basketball skills in a supportive environment. We will definitely keep coming back!

My son has improved his shooting technique significantly, thanks to the personalized training sessions. The small group size allows for more one-on-one attention, which is a big plus. However, the drop-off process can be a bit chaotic at times, with many parents arriving at once and not a clear flow for pick-up and drop-off. If you're considering this program for your active child, I would recommend it, but be prepared for some initial hustle during the drop-off.
