I took my 6-year-old son to the GoPlay! Calgary basketball program last Saturday, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Mike, was very engaging and made sure each child felt included. My son loved learning how to dribble and even got to shoot some hoops. The small group size helped him get plenty of attention during the hour-long session. However, the gym was a bit crowded, making it tough for some kids to focus at times. We had to wait a bit during pickup, which was slightly annoying, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. At the end of the session, my son told me he made a new friend, which was great to hear. I would recommend this program for kids looking to have fun while learning basketball fundamentals, just be prepared for a bit of a crowd.

We attended the GoPlay! Calgary basketball program last Saturday, and my 6-year-old son had a fantastic time. The instructor, Max, was really engaging and made the basics of dribbling and shooting fun for the kids. I appreciated the small group size, which allowed for plenty of individual attention. My son especially loved making new friends during the scrimmage time. While the environment was inclusive and supportive, I did notice that the session felt a bit rushed towards the end. They could probably benefit from a longer time for the kids to practice their skills. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I would recommend it for parents looking to introduce their kids to basketball in a fun way.
