We recently enrolled my 9-year-old in the Visual Arts program at PULSE Studios in Calgary, and overall, we had a positive experience. The instructor, Mia, was very engaging and kept the kids motivated. They worked on a mixed-media project where they created collages using magazine cutouts and paint, which my child absolutely loved. The small group size allowed for more personal attention, and it was great to see my child flourish creatively. I did notice that pickup could get a bit chaotic, with parents crowding the entrance, which added some stress at the end of the day. However, I think the supportive environment and the creative projects made it worthwhile. My child has made a couple of friends already and has been asking about the next class. I would recommend this program for parents looking for a nurturing and encouraging space for their kids to explore art.
