My daughter recently attended the weekly visual arts program at Pinnovate DIY Art Studio in Calgary, and overall, it was a solid experience. They had a small group of about six kids, which allowed for personalized attention from the instructor, Mia, who was very engaging and encouraged them to express their creativity. My daughter loved working on a mixed-media project where she created a collage using various materials. However, I did notice that the sign-in process was a bit chaotic at the beginning, with long lines forming as parents dropped off their kids. This could definitely use some improvement. Despite that, my daughter came home excited about her artwork and mentioned she made a new friend in the class. The program has fostered her love for art, and I’m considering enrolling her again, with the hope they streamline the drop-off next time.
