Green Fools Theatre Society (Studio G) — Visual Arts

I enrolled my 9-year-old daughter in the Green Fools Theatre Society's Visual Arts program in Calgary, and overall, it was a positive experience. The classes are held weekly, and the instructor, Sarah, was particularly engaging, providing great individual attention to each child. My daughter loved creating her own watercolor painting of a landscape, and she was thrilled to showcase it at the end of the session. The small group size really helped her feel comfortable and encouraged her creativity. However, the pickup area was a bit crowded, making it slightly chaotic at times. I’d recommend this program for any child who enjoys arts and self-expression, just be prepared for a bit of hustle during pickup time.

My daughter attended the Visual Arts program at Green Fools Theatre Society in Calgary last Saturday, and overall, it was a good experience. The instructor, Sarah, was incredibly engaging and encouraged the kids to express themselves through various mediums. My daughter created a colorful collage that she was really proud of, and she even made a new friend in the process, which was lovely to see. However, the space was a bit crowded, making it hard for the kids to move around freely. Still, I appreciate how they managed to involve everyone, and Sarah's communication with the children was excellent. The $200 price tag felt reasonable for the amount of interaction my daughter received, but be prepared for some waiting at pick-up time, as there was a slight mix-up with the parents coming in to collect their kids. We will likely return next week!
