Grasby Art Studio — Visual Arts

We recently enrolled my 9-year-old in a visual arts class at Grasby Art Studio in Calgary, and overall, it was a positive experience. The instructor, Sarah, was enthusiastic and really connected with the kids. My child particularly enjoyed painting with watercolors, and she came home thrilled with the piece she created. The small class size allowed for personalized attention, which I appreciated. However, I did find the drop-off situation a bit chaotic at times, as there were a lot of parents arriving all at once. It can feel overwhelming. Still, my child left feeling inspired and excited to return, so I would recommend the program, especially if your child is creative and enjoys art. Just be prepared for the busy pickup times!

The environment felt very inclusive, and my daughter made a friend during the class, which was wonderful to see. We plan to continue attending, as the classes seem to be a good fit for her interests and skill level.
