Treasure Trunk Theatre - Atlantic Ave — Theatre

I enrolled my 6-year-old in the Treasure Trunk Theatre program in Brooklyn, and overall, it was a fun experience. The staff, especially Ms. Jamie, was enthusiastic and genuinely engaged with the kids. My child made a friend and really enjoyed the creative projects, like building a small puppet stage and putting on a mini-show. However, the drop-off process was a bit chaotic at times, with kids and parents milling around, which made it hard to find my way in initially. Despite this, my child felt safe and excited to return each week. The price tag of around $250 felt fair, considering the level of interaction and creativity fostered. I would recommend it for other parents looking to encourage their child's artistic side, but be prepared for a slightly hectic start.

I also appreciated how my daughter made a new friend during the activities, which was lovely to see. However, I did find the check-in process a bit chaotic – there were long lines, especially on the first day, which made me a little anxious. Overall, I think the program does a great job of helping kids express themselves and build confidence, but be prepared for some patience at pickup. I would recommend it, especially for outgoing children or those who have a creative side.
