My 12-year-old son attended The Coding Space's science program in Brooklyn, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructors, particularly Sam, were highly engaged and made complex concepts accessible while keeping the kids entertained. My son built a simple robot that responded to sound, combining both coding and scientific principles, which he was thrilled about. One downside was the long lines for pickup; it took a bit longer than expected, especially on the first day. While the program is on the pricier side, I felt it was worth it given the hands-on projects and the ability to spark my son's interest in both science and technology. If your child is active and creative, this program could be a great fit. Just be prepared for a little wait at the end of the day.
