S.T.E.A.M. Champs — Robotics

My son attended the S.T.E.A.M. Champs robotics program in Brooklyn for several weeks, and overall, we had a pretty positive experience. The instructor, Ms. Clara, was very engaging and really encouraged the kids to think critically while working on their projects. My son enjoyed building a robot that could navigate an obstacle course, which he was proud to showcase at the end of the session. One minor annoyance was the long lines during drop-off and pickup; it felt a bit chaotic at times. However, the small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which was a definite plus. If you're looking for a program that sparks creativity and problem-solving skills, I'd recommend S.T.E.A.M. Champs, just be prepared for the lines.

I enrolled my 9-year-old in the S.T.E.A.M. Champs Robotics program in Brooklyn, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Jessica, was engaging and made the concepts easy to understand. However, I found the drop-off process a bit chaotic, as it could get busy with so many kids at once. It took a few minutes to find the right spot to pick up, which was a bit frustrating. The class sizes are small, which allowed for great interaction with the staff. My son was able to make a couple of friends, which made the experience even more enjoyable for him. I would recommend this program, but just be prepared for a bit of mayhem during drop-off.
