We recently enrolled our 12-year-old son in the Created by Kids photography program in Brooklyn. Overall, I’d say it was a solid experience. He especially enjoyed the hands-on creative projects, like learning to capture the perfect sunset shot. The instructor, Mia, was friendly and really connected with the kids, helping them to express their ideas through photography. The small group size allowed for personalized feedback, which I appreciated. However, the drop-off process was a bit chaotic. There were a lot of parents and kids arriving at the same time, making it hard to figure out where to go. Despite that, my son made a few friends and came home excited every week with new skills. I recommend this program if your child is creative and looking to explore photography.

My 9-year-old son attended the Created by Kids photography program in Brooklyn, and overall, it was a solid experience. The instructor, Lisa, was very engaging, and her passion for photography really inspired the kids. They worked on a project where they had to capture different textures around the park, and it was wonderful to see my son’s creativity come to life through his photos. The small group size allowed for personalized attention, which was great. However, I did find the drop-off chaotic, with lots of parents lingering and kids running around. It made the start feel a bit overwhelming. Still, my son made a couple of new friends, which was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for a program that encourages creativity and offers hands-on learning, I would recommend it with that small caveat in mind.
