Chaim Day Camp — Nature & Outdoors

My son attended Chaim Day Camp's Nature & Outdoors program in Brooklyn last summer, and overall it was a solid experience for him. The camp provided ample outdoor time, which he really loved. He had the chance to build a birdhouse and make nature crafts, which were both educational and fun. The staff, particularly an instructor named Sarah, was very engaged and encouraging, which made a difference in my son's enjoyment. However, we did experience some long lines during pickup, which was a bit frustrating after a long day for the kids. Thankfully, the friendly staff helped ease the wait. Overall, I would recommend this camp if your child enjoys being active and creative in nature.

We sent our 6-year-old to Chaim Day Camp's Nature & Outdoors program this summer in Brooklyn. Overall, it was a solid experience. My child came home every day excited about the nature projects they worked on, like making bird feeders and learning about local plants. The staff, particularly our instructor, Lily, was very engaged and seemed to genuinely care about the kids’ experiences. However, I did notice the pickup process could get a bit chaotic, with long lines forming at times, which made it a bit stressful for us parents. That said, my child made a new friend, which was lovely to see. They adored the outdoor-time and came home with plenty of stories about their adventures in the park. I would recommend this program, but be prepared for some minor inconveniences with logistics.
