We enrolled our 8-year-old in the Brooklyn United Music & Arts Program, and it has been a solid experience so far. The instructor, Max, is genuinely passionate about music, and it shows in how he engages the kids. My child is particularly enjoying learning to play the keyboard and has already composed a small piece, which was a huge confidence boost for them. The small group size allows for personalized attention, which I appreciate. However, the drop-off process was a bit chaotic, with crowds of parents making it hard to get in and out smoothly. Overall, I think it’s a great program for creative kids who want to explore music further, and I’d recommend it with the note that parents should expect some hustle during pickup times.

We enrolled our 9-year-old in the Brooklyn United Music & Arts Program, and overall, it has been a solid experience. On Wednesdays, we drop her off at the community center, and while the instructors, particularly a friendly guy named Leo, seem very engaged, the initial drop-off can feel a bit chaotic with a lot of kids and parents arriving at the same time. My daughter has been learning to play the ukulele and even got to compose her own short piece last week, which she was thrilled about. She made a new friend as well, which has been great for her confidence. The program does come with a price tag around $250, which I feel is reasonable considering the skills she's gaining. While I do wish they had a more organized pickup procedure, I would recommend this program for kids interested in music and creativity.
