We enrolled our 6-year-old in the Mi Mundo De Colores program in Brooklyn, and overall, it has been a solid experience. The classes are small, which allows for more personalized attention from the instructor, Lucia, who is very engaging with the kids. My daughter learned basic Spanish vocabulary and even created a colorful poster about animals, which she proudly displayed at home. The program runs weekly, making it easy to fit into our schedule, but the drop-off can be a bit chaotic, with parents gathered and kids excitedly running around. My daughter, being shy, had some initial hesitations, but she has slowly opened up and made a friend in class. While I do think the price is on the higher side, the quality of instruction and the nurturing environment make it worthwhile for families interested in enhancing their child's language skills.

My son attended Mi Mundo De Colores in Brooklyn, and overall, it was a solid experience. The small group size allowed for more personalized attention, which really helped him come out of his shell. His instructor, Laura, was very engaging, and she created a fun environment that encouraged active participation. Every week, they focused on a different theme, and my son particularly enjoyed the creative projects, like making colorful language flashcards. However, I did notice that pickup could be quite chaotic, with long lines at the end of the day. It was a bit stressful trying to find him amongst the crowd. Still, I believe that with some tweaks to the logistics, this program could become even better. I would recommend it, especially for kids who might be shy and need that extra encouragement to interact.
